The best part of this hotel is the spectacular view of the cityscape and its location in the city center, just a short distance from many company offices and attractions.

Exploring Copenhagen is easy from the Radisson Blue Copenhagen hotel with several transportation options near like taxi, metro and bus stops. The hotel is close to the Christianshavn which is just a few minutes away from popular spots like the Strøget pedestrian area and Nyhavn waterfront. And Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup is just a 15-minute drive away.

The two restaurants at the hotel offer Thai cuisine at The Blue Elephant, or Italian and Mediterranean dishes at Filini, open for regular dining hours.

Breakfast buffet in the mornings feature an expansive spread of breakfast items but the presenting tables are not wheelchair friendly. The breakfast presentation is set-up for people standing. But the staff is open to help you out.

Accessible Room

The accessible room is spacious enough for a manual wheelchair-user. Only one side of the bed can be used to transfer out of the wheelchair. The bed is comfortable and at good height. You can control the lights from the bed and there are small bedside tables.

Update necessary

The outdated interior has a 90's vibe and could use a renovation especially the adapted bathroom. Here is why;

- The one wall handle next to the toilet is not placed very convenient. There is just one foldable bar on the other side to hold on to.

- The sink has open space underneath but is very small.

- The shower has no wall seat or shower chair. A rather unstable stool is the only option to use in the shower.

As Copenhagen center is relatively small and accessible hotelrooms are hard to find this might be a place to consider if it's for a short stay.
